2006 Calendar Edition

CAALENDARcover2006-2.jpgThe second addition of the Australian Multicultural Calendar is brought to you through our collaboration with Bartel Publishing, Community Relations Commission and support from Federation of Ethnic Community Councils of Australia.

The 2006 Cultural Diversity Calendar proudly showcases exceptional image collections developed over many years by Warren Duncan, Media Relations Officer at Community Relations Commission and independent photographer Ben Apfelbaum. Their imaginative and thoughtful capture of featured community celebrations account for the history and customs now a part of our common Australian heritage.


buynow9.95.jpgOver 500 events are listed throughout the calendar with extensive index of community specific observances, whilst 24 extended entries portray local celebrations of community festivals in picture and text. This wall hanging calendar is an educational, managerial a social resource for all people of Australia.

Australian Multicultural Calendar 2006 is distributed through select Australia Post outlets and Bartel Publishing has exceptional customised printing packages at wholesale rates for corporate clients ordering 1000 or more copies.

Citynations team would especially like to thank Community Relations Commission for having taken great care to provide the information about the listed events, but also suggest that you check with community organisations and their representatives about the local celebrations, names of events and dates as some of them vary due to regional differences, lunar cycles, and the reliance on natural occurrences such as the sighting of the moon.
